Recording media. I'm showing my age here, but when I started buying music, vinyl was the main medium. I tried them all; I had an 8-Track player and various cassette players/recorders too. I didn't have a reel to reel recorder, but thought about getting one. But vinyl produced the best sound. The only issue with it of course is if it gets scratched or warped. The worst being when a vinyl record skips, and the same segment keeps repeating! And of course you can't play vinyl in your car.
Later CDs came along. And whilst some audophiles felt vinyl was still superior (if you had a good enough HI-Fi system), for most people CDs provided quality sound, and no noises from dust or scratches in the vinyl. And portable - you can play it in your car.
Anyway... just after I sold my vinyl collection (to make room in the house!), vinyl has made a comeback.
So, I bought this vinyl record. But sadly.... well you take a listen. Carefully. Click on the image below.
