The Wyre Rivers Trust will be holding a beach clean in the estuary at Knott End and have invited us to join them as a CITO. This is most appropriate as there are caches along the riverside footpath from source to sea and along the seawall.
Please come warmly dressed and wearing boots or wellies. If you have litter picking equipment please bring it, if not some will be available.
The coords are for the Coastguard Station and we will meet behind it at 10.15 am. Unfortunately this event is on a weekday but we hope there are enough cahers available to make our presence felt.
The Wyre Rivers Trust representative will advise us where to work safely.
The terrain is rated at 3.0 because it is very muddy in places.
You will be awarded the spring season COTO souvenir for attending this event.
