A (hopefully) fun game for children of all ages

A few tips before we start
This is the first of a series of six Wherigo caches; none of which are at the given co-ordinates. To find the cache you don’t go to the location marked on the map. Instead you play a simple little game
Be sure you have the most recent cartridge. The most recent update was on 10 February 2025… PLEASE don’t download the cartridge and then not play it for ages. It is rather frustrating to read logs telling of issues that were fixed months ago
I don’t want to sound rude, but I’ve watched people playing Wherigo in the past… READ WHAT THE SCREEN SAYS before pressing the “next” button or you will miss vital information.
You’ve got a short walk from the car park to the start location at which point you will find that this Wherigo is different to the others in these woods. YOU GET TO CHOOSE THE ORDER IN WHICH YOU VISIT THEM. You will have the option (in the game) to see where they all are relative to each other. Use your map (in the app) to plan your route. The terrain is mostly on decent wide paths, but one stretch is on a less-walked path which can be muddy in places. PLEASE be aware that you should stick to the well-marked paths. There is no need to trample through the woods.
Before you start be sure the GPS is switched on in the software you are using for the Wherigo. Just because it is switched on in your GPS unit or on your phone doesn't always mean it is switched on in the software
