Geocache Description:

Praznujte z mano nov osebni mejnik: 15.000 smeškov (oz. zakladov, ki sem jih našel).

Da bi dosegel ta cilj, sem obiskal veliko zanimivih in lepih krajev na vseh 5 celinah. Pot me je pripeljala celo do prvega (pred 25 leti) skritega geocacha v Oregonu (ZDA). No, v bistvu nisem še povsem dosegel 15.000. Do večera tega dogodka moram biti še priden in najti enega ali dva zaklada.

Ker je zame zadnja priložnost, da se število najdenih zakladov ujema s koordinatami lokacije v Sloveniji (N46 15.000 in E015 15.000), sem izbral to lokacijo pri Celju.

Druge možne koordinate (N46 15.000 in E014 15.000) bi vodile na absolutno nikogaršnjo zemljo, namreč nekam v od boga pozabljene gozdove med Železniki in Zgornjo Besnico. To bi bil zagotovo bolj zanimiv in pustolovski dogodek, a ne vem, kdo od vas bi prišel tja v temi. In piti pivo sam v nočnem gozdu ni tako zabavno.

A tukaj, na koordinatah dogodka, je, kakšna neverjetna sreča, prijeten lokal s parkiriščem, kjer se lahko pogovarjamo o našem najljubšem hobiju in skupaj nazdravimo mojemu novemu mejniku.

Torej, vljudno vabljeni na petkovo večerno pivo, tokrat pač v Celju!

Celebrate with me a new personal milestone: 15,000 smileys (or rather geocaches that I found).

To achieve this goal, I visited many interesting and beautiful places on all 5 continents. My GPS even led me to the first ever (25 years ago) hidden geocache in Oregon (USA). Well, actually, I haven't quite reached 15,000 treasures yet. I still have to do a bit of geocaching work and find one or two treasures until the evening of this event.

Since it is my last chance to match the number of treasures found with the coordinates of a location in Slovenia (N46 15.000 and E015 15.000), I chose this one near Celje.

The other possible coordinates (N46 15.000 and E014 15.000) would lead to an absolute no-man's land, somewhere in the God-forgotten forests between Železniki and Zgornja Besnica. This would definitely be a more interesting and adventurous event, but I don't know who of you would join me there. And drinking beer alone in a dark forest is not that much fun.

But here, at the coordinates of the event, there is, what incredible luck, a nice bar, where we can talk about our favorite hobby and toast to my new milestone.
