This is the first cache in a series with the theme of my favorite band, Better Than Ezra.
"BTE" formed in Louisiana in 1988. Found a lot of success in the mid to late 90s on the rock/pop/alternative scene, including their biggest hits "Good" and "Desperately Wanting" that got a lot of radio play. Their lead singer, Kevin Griffin, has also written songs for other artists such as Meatloaf, Blondie, Howie Day, Sugarland, James Blunt, Barenaked Ladies, Dierks Bentley, Train, Ingrahm Hill, Violent Femmes, Tom Morello, and Christina Perri, among many others.
Closer is the self titled release off their 5th studio album. Some of these caches will be placed with a reference to the song, some will be random. To me - this song is about the beginning stages of fatherhood, and all the emotions that come with it. The band doesn't have many religious songs, but this one has the most lyrics involving religion, god, and faith, hence why it is placed on Cathedral Dr.
