GEOCHICKS 2025
WHO:
GeoChicks far and near. Traditionally 18 and older please.
WHAT:
GeoChicks #21 will gather in Lapeer MI.
For those new to GeoChicks, here's a general idea of what to expect:
-Arrive Friday night or Saturday morning.
-Meeting at 9:00AM Saturday morning in the hotel conference room to explain the day and the game.
-Breakfast on your own, only registered hotel guests have access to the hot breakfast.
-Play the game, shop, and/or cache.
-Arrive back at the hotel to fill goody bags (more on this below), eat dinner, raffle table/prize table, unstructured socializing and some fun games. Dinner plan TDB.

WHEN:
-The weekend of March 14-16th, 2025 or just join us for the day on Saturday if you're day tripping.
-Begin your adventure whenever you please. Some arrive in town as early as Thursday. Official event begins Saturday morning.
WHERE:
-Holiday Inn Express 927 Demille Rd, Lapeer, MI 48446. This hotel has a small conference room space.
LODGING:
-You can book a room by calling Holiday Inn at (810)245-7700. Mention you are with the geocaching event group.
-You'll receive our block contracted rate of $XX.XX/night (We can't post the price due to Geocaching guidelines, please see related web page for more information)
GOODY BAGS:
-Everyone brings a small gift for each person to be put in a bag. Everyone will receive a bag of gifts compiled of all the gifts everyone has given.
-Bags can be filled Saturday evening. Gifts can be small and also don't have to be caching related.
-Examples of past gifts have been path tags, candles, homemade jewelry, sweets, stickers, encouraging notes, but really, your imagination is the limit.
-This is just for fun, don't stress about it.
-Plan on around 50 items or check the "will attends" number on the cache page for a more accurate count.
-Opening the goody bags in the evening is like opening your own personally stocked cache!
PRIZE TABLE:
-We see a wide variety of items on the table - the sky's the limit.
-Complementary tokens for the prize table will be handed out to everyone Saturday evening.
-Please bring 1 or 2 items to place on the table to ensure everyone gets a prize.
RAFFLE:
-There is a raffle Saturday evening of donated items. These items are typically higher in value ($20+) and many are homemade.
-Tickets are SOLD after we return on Saturday up until the time the raffle numbers are drawn in the evening.
-Please let me know if you have an item we can use for this raffle. 100% of the money earned goes into putting on this event.
