29th - Weekend Hedge care at Hucclecote Meadows
1030-1300
Parking: There is some on-street parking opposite Hucclecote Meadows Reserve on Laxton Road (or in many of the other side streets nearby).
Where: Meet by the footpath sign just off Laxton Road at 1030 or find us in the Meadows, if you can't find us in the first field then carry on walking towards the next field where you should find us or you can message me in the app and I will come and find you.
What: Join us as we continue our hedgerow restoration project around the Meadows. We will be caring for the young trees along parts of the hedgerow, as well as trimming and weaving regrowth where the hedge trees have been laid.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance. We ask you to bring your own gloves and if you have loppers, shears, secateurs or a hammer that will be great.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please do bring a drink as it can be thirsty work!
