The orginal "Where the Heart is - Haddo" fell foul of storm Arwen and was archived. The container has been retrieved and moved to another location within the Haddo Estate.

Open 7 days from dawn till dusk. Every visit you notice something different. It has become extra special for us because it is where my now husband (aka Zetafiddler) and I had our first walking date. He introduced me to Geocaching. It was also the location for our wedding. The ceremony in the gorgeous chapel, dinner in the library and a shindig in the Canadian Barn (best day ever!). When we got Yaya (aka Geoyaya aka the Pup) our black labrador, we took her to the dog walking area and let her off lead to test out her recall - a very proud puppy parent moment! Haddo has now become one of her favourite places to go for walks. There are so many special memories for us and we just keep making more - our outdoor home from home, and they do say Home is Where the Heart is! We are still hopeful that the original location will be re-opened but in the meantime this path has become a frequent favourite as the smaller bridge is a quiet location for doggy-paddling without disturbing other humans and ducks!
