Welcome to Eagle River, by far the prettiest suburb of Anchorage. At anytime, Eagle River could display brave parasailers from Mt. Baldy, eagles soaring the skies, lynx, moose, and two types of bears. The Eagle River Nature Center is a great way for a family or a hiking team to explore Eagle River Valley, its river, and spot amazing wildlife and plants along the way.
Built around 1975, the Ranchette subdivision huddles close to the bottom of Mt. Baldy. These neighbors have been together a long time and enjoy the great sights from their yards. In the summer, you can see far across the inlet and in the darkest wintry days, step outside and see Lady Aurora. This neighborhood was a fan of horse racing and if you're in tune, you'll notice these roads are named after famous equestrian winners.
