Cross-stitch is a form of embroidery that is made with different colors of thread that create X-shapes in a special fabric called aida cloth. People have been cross-stitching in its current form since the 1800s. It was a favorote hobby of my mom's because of that I have been cross-stitching since I was 5. There was a time when I made a pink or blue cross stiched foot for each of my friends when they had a baby. It included the babies name, DOB, and weight.
