There are four cemeteries located along the southern end of Jamesville Avenue in Syracuse. Three are Jewish cemeteries that reflect the Jewish mandate of "Kavod Hamet," or the Jewish tradition emphasizing the utmost respect and dignity for the deceased, from the moment of death until burial. While it appears to be just one cemetery (the Workman's Circle Cemetery) there are three contiguous sections and they are: Anshe Sfard, Ahavath Achim, and Chevra Shas. The entire area is carefully maintained by the Syracuse Jewish Cemetery Association. Directly across Jamesville Avenue there is the Saint Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Cemetery. There is no need to enter the cemeteries in order to be able to log a "Found it". BYOP
