About 1/3 of a mile walk along trails to a river, fairly flat and no wetter than any walk in the woods could be. we used the geocache.com rating system to rate this but it seems easier than the rating implies.
Park at the wells recreation center and walk around the tennis courts and playground to the "red trail", follow the red markings until you come to a spot where the red trail goes left and your gps shows you should head right (north) on the unmarked trail. Go along the river to "Hobbs Rock" and from there you are on your own. This is our first cache and because we dont want anyone to go home empty handed the hint is very descriptive. When you find it you can do the usual including taking a picture with the camera, but to keep with the theme(lunch box) please log in online if possible with your favorite place to eat out in the neighborhood (or nearest one to this area you are familiar with). We usualy travel to other towns to geocache as a family event including a meal and we thought this info might help someone new to the wells area.
