Camping
for people looking for camping at the Tenterfield event.
As this event coincides with the Tenterfield Autumn Festival it has been decided to have all camping booked directly with the showground caretaker rather than direct with the Tenterfield Event Committee as many people want to book a longer stay and this would have involved people having to make two separate bookings.
The showgrounds are ground zero for the event and people booking for this event will be accommodated close to the pavilions that we are using as ground zero rather than the regular camping area where people coming for the Autum Festival will be. There are separate amenity blocks by the pavilions.
Accommodation rates are
$35 per night for powered and
$25 for non-powered.
longer stays may attract a discount on these rates and this will be determined by the caretakers. There are over 100 sites reserved for the Tenterfield event from the Thursday 2nd April to Tuesday 7th April.
To book please contact the showground caretakers direct on 0499 885 386. If you want to have a campsite next to another booking please phone or text 0411812292 to request who you would like to be next to. This can also be sorted out in the day you arrive.
Flag counter was added in this date: 21st January 2026
