Side-Tracked Again - Lytham Traditional Cache

A fairly easy-to-find cache, only a short walk from two main roads.

I love trains, and travel on the Blackpool South to Preston line regularly. I also run locally and decided to place this cache on one of my regular run circuits that takes you back through Witchwood. The line is a single track that has an hourly service in each direction. Trains are currently served by a two or four-car Class 150 or 156 DMU.

The Cache is a small container in a camoflaged bag. This is a fairly easy hide by Slateman standards so you should not find it too difficult to sniff out! Please ensure you re-hide it well as found. The container is big enough for trackables and a few bits and bobs for kids to exchange if you wish.

You can only access the cache on foot or pedal cycle. There is street parking at the given waypoints both North and South sides of the Cache location. You could consider doing a circular walk through Witch Wood where there are other caches en-route. Enjoy!
