Tampa One Traditional Cache
dungbeetle3: This cache was archived and removed due to installation of a new fence to prevent people from entering the site. I would rather remove the cache than have people sighted for trespassing.

North side of a trail circumnavigating a pond.
Just heard about geocaching last week and was bummed to find NOTHING in Tampa. Well, Tampa, here you go. A tupperware container with logbook, genuine Gasparilla beads, a ball cap, a military coin, an aircraft pin--the basic cornucopia of stuff that results from a family project with the kids. Just 500' from where you park the car and within arm's reach of the north edge of the trail (didn't want to walk in the dense brush). Covered with brush and a dark brown ball cap so that it isn't obvious until you are right on top of it. Ignore the topo map link--a strip mall and theater have been added to the location. Used my new eTrex to spot it (15' accuracy at time of "mark").

WILL ARCHIVE THIS CACHE ON SUNDAY DUE TO NEW FENCE AND DIFFICULTIES IN GETTING TO THE AREA.
