geojo1: Thanks to all that helped pick up trash for this Spring CITO at Blue Marsh. Even though our numbers are dwindling we still manage to find lots of trash. Hope to be able to continue this CITO event in the Fall.

CITO at BLUE MARSH

Join us in giving back to Blue Marsh Lake. Trash - then Cache at Blue Marsh. Geocachers, bring your friends and we will meet at the coordinates at 9:30 AM. There we will organize into groups to venture out to specific areas around Blue Marsh that need 'spring cleaning'. This event is approved by the Army Corps of Engineers. The 'Spring Cleaning' at various shoreline access areas and trail parts will last from about 9:45 AM to 11:45 AM. So, come and enjoy the comradery. Look for some of the numerous Blue Marsh caches including a CITO Adventure Lab Blue Marsh Lake. If you have done all the Blue Marsh caches - maybe you can lend a hand to some of the newer geocachers. Check back to this site for updates.

A luncheon will be served at 12:00 Noon at the Lake View Pavillion. Please log your attend as early as possible USACE needs a count a week early.
