RO:Bine ați venit pe Faleza Dunării de la Galați!

Aceasta se întinde pe o lungime de circa 4 kilometri, reprezentând un adevărat ecosistem pentru plante și animale. Renumele este dat și de tabăra de sculptură în fier ce a avut loc în repetate rânduri, cele mai multe monumente datând din perioada 1976-1977. 

Faleza începe din punctul de traversare a Dunării cu bacul, o ambarcațiune cu fundul și capetele plate. Această zonă a reprezentat un punct de intensă circulație, încetând în urma deschiderii podului de la Brăila, o alternativă mult mai eficientă ca timp. În prezent, bacul de la Galați este folosit îndeosebi pentru accesul în comuna de pe malul opus, I C Brătianu.
