Mitchell County according to the Mitchell County Tourism has 31 Cemeteries. Each of them have their own unique and beautiful views of the country and loads of local history.

As doing my part to grow the caches in the area, I hope to put a cache in each one to help people explore Mitchell County.
Green Mound Cemetery has some amazing views and has a beautiful sitting area with a pair of benches. One bench das three beautiful pictures of historical items that are near the cemetery. As with all cemetery caches, please be respectful and responsible when grabbing them. NO night caching, NO caching during a funeral, there is NO need to touch or search on or around any headstone. If you see trash do your part and do some CITO.
