Geocache Description:

This is an all-weather puzzle-type cache. You will need to read the entire description; the above coordinates will not take you to the cache itself.

For this one, I decided to try something a little different. I'm interested to hear what you think about this type of challenge!

1. You should bring with you the answer to the following math problem:

There is a certain five-digit number X. With a one placed after it, it is three times as large as with a one placed before it. What is X?

This problem is straightforward – it involves no tricks in the wording. It can be solved by several methods. If you have tried and have absolutely no clue, e-mail me and I may be able to help.

2. When you reach the above coordinates, you should know what to do. Proceed to something indicated by the following designation: Ref. 920.03 Cont. (Vol. 105). From there you will have to figure out where to go next! You'll be given all the information you need to find the answers and the cache.

Please replace everything as you found it. Be discreet and respectful of the location and of others around you. Though it might be best not to reveal the intent of your questioning, do not be afraid to ask for help with specific tasks!

This cache is NOT accessible at the following times. Please plan accordingly.
  • Weekdays and Saturdays before 9:00 AM.
  • Sundays before 2:00 PM.
  • Saturdays and Sundays after 5:00 PM.
  • Weekdays after 9:00 PM.
  • Most holidays.

Also, expect this to take some time. This is not a cache-and-dash.

Good luck, and have fun!
