Spring Break 2025 Babyyyy!
It's rained, it's snowed, it's been miserable cold but NORA had a
Spring Break Outdoor Recreation Camps to make sure kids who stayed in town had an opportunity for fun. We went geocaching in 3 different parks this week and took some time to make our own caches. Our last day of camp for the week brought Us to the newly reopened Ottawa Sands County Park. We hiked the 1.63 mile loop around the lake, we checked out the campground with the super cool tree houses and yurts and enjoyed listening to all the birds migrating through. We noticed that there weren't very many caches at this park. So what better place than this to put one of our new geocaches.
This geocash is an old yogurt container that has been artfully hidden among the trees in a way that kids or adults can easily find it. It provides a fun little challenge, but you don't have to be an expert hiker to get to it. We hope you stay and enjoy this really cool! Ottawa County Park that is beautiful all year round.
