Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the By The Bridge series in Burnaby.

This paved pedestrian and cycling bridge crosses over a small slough near the Burnaby Lake East fields and across the street from the tennis courts.

This path is part of a connector route that will join the Burnaby Lake area to the Deer Lake area via a pedestrain overpass over Highway #1. This path can also be used as a route around Burnaby Lake, connecting to the Brunette River trail right out to the border with New Westminster.

The cache is small and you'll have to search low to find it.

The By The Bridge Series

The “By The Bridge” series features Geocaches that are located near or on pedestrian bridges around Burnaby, BC. The first cache we placed was near the Beaverbrook pedestrian bridge (GCAC76H). We placed a few other caches near pedestrian bridges and have converted those to the “By The Bridge” series. It's interesting to see how some of these pedestrian bridges connect neighbourhoods across some of the busy roadways of Burnaby.
