RO:Vă aflați în fața celui mai mare spărgător de gheaţă de pe Dunărea maritimă și anume vaporul Perseus ! A fost construit pentru a fi folosit la salvarea şi remorcarea navelor maritime avariate sau eşuate cât și pentru spargerea gheţii pe sectorul maritim al Dunării de Jos de la Sulina până la Brăila. Interesant de știut este că această navă impunătoare a trecut și prin numeroase aventuri. În anul 2000, a evadat din Portul Alexandria după ce a fost reţinută abuziv de autorităţile portuare egiptene timp de patru luni. La bordul navei numită atunci Albatros se aflau 14 români și din fericire nimeni nu a fost rănit. 

EN: You are in front of the largest icebreaker on the maritime Danube, namely the ship Perseus! It was built to be used for rescuing and towing damaged or stranded maritime vessels as well as for breaking ice on the maritime sector of the Lower Danube from Sulina to Brăila. It is interesting to know that this imposing ship has also gone through numerous adventures. In 2000, it escaped from the Port of Alexandria after being abusively detained by the Egyptian port authorities for four months. On board the ship, then called Albatros, there were 14 Romanians and fortunately no one was injured.
