RO: Bine ați venit în portul orașului! Acest loc a reprezentat odinioară nucleul economic al Galațiului. Tot de aici a început și dezvoltarea localității. Printre numeroasele ambarcațiuni se poate remarca vasul cu zbaturi Tudor Vladimirescu, cea mai veche de acest tip care este încă funcțională! Construită între anii 1851 și 1854, aceasta a avut la bord personalități din familia regală precum Regele Ferdinand, Regina Maria, Carol al II-lea și Regele Mihai, cât și pe liderii comuniști Nikita Hrușciov și Gheorghe Gheorgiu Dej.
Printre altele mai pot fi observate nave ale pompierilor, împingătoare, nave de pasageri.
