BEWARE ARRR MATIES - WE HAVE FOUND THE PERFECT PLANK
(BOARDWALK) FOR YE TO WALK

The Plank ye'll be walkin is located in "Winlaw Regional Nature Park" on the west shore of the Slocan River. There is Waterfront Access for those Hearties that arive by boat but the landlubbers will need to cross the Winlaw bridge, find the parking lot, and follow the trails to the cache locations. 
Comprised of 9.2 hectares (22.7 acres), the park includes restrooms, change rooms, a covered gazebo, picnic area, playground, beach and of course an elevated boardwalk or two.  

Be warned there is a nasty tribe of pirates that hide out in the location in the summer months so be sure to come prepared with plenty of bug repellent.  YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Ye might be spared from ending up in Davy Jones Locker if you are good at swabbing the decks.
You are looking for a small camoed lock n' lock.  No need to leave the plank but it is easier to take a step or two down and to brave the the shark infested waters in order to reach it. 

For some of you this will not be the first time you have walked the plank.
