Lesní elektřina – reverzní letterbox

Reverzních wherig už máme dost, přišel čas na reverzní letterbox.

Příprava

Na cestě za touto krabičkou se ti bude hodit několik kačerských umění. Kromě těch celkem běžných (ale ne samozřejmých), jako je chození a vidění, budeš potřebovat umět ovládnout stromolezení s výbavou a také starobylé umění triangulace. Budeš tedy potřebovat mapu, do které si budeš moci vykroužit přesné vzdálenosti, ať už papírovou nebo elektronickou. Toto umí například aplikace Locus Map nebo GC Wizard a nebo web Geocaching Toolbox.

Dále se vybav lanem aspoň 40 m dlouhým a klasickými potřebami pro stoupání po laně na strom. Doporučuji vzít i prak.

Cesta ke keši

Keš není na výchozích souřadnicích. Dostaneš se k ní po lehké asi 700 m dlouhé trase vyznačené třemi waypointy. Na každém z míst se rozhlédni a vyber z galerie fotek níže tu, kterou jsem na místě vyfotil. Na fotce je číslo vyznačující počet metrů k finálce. Odtud pochází název reverzní letterbox, protože se dozvídáš pouze vzdálenost ke keši, podobně jako v reverzním wherigu.

Teď už díky triangulaci víš, kde přesně najdeš strom s keší. Z posledního místa doporučuji jít ještě asi dvacet metrů rovně a pak teprve zatočit, aby ses vyhnul*a zarostlé cestě. Nechoď až na konec lesa, jdi po cestě lesem.

Keš – Čti, než začneš lézt!

Případnou cestu ke keši autem si prosím nezkracuj podél chmelnice, je tam fotopast. Využij doporučené parkovací místo, nebo nějaké jiné v okolí, kde nebudeš překážet.

Panty jsou vpravo, takže když nahodíš lano napravo, neuvidíš pořádně dovnitř.

Kličku najdeš zespodu keše na řetězu na magnetu. Zamykej po sobě prosím a kličku vracej tak, aby byl celý řetěz přimagnetovaný zespodu keše a nevisel dolů.

Výzdoba keše není funkční, nemanipuluj s ní prosím. Na keš v žádném případě nestoupej ani se za ni nevěš.

V keši najdeš bonusovou indicii, která se může a nemusí v budoucnu hodit.

Nedávej prosím do logů fotky vnitřku keše. Musel bych je smazat.

Forest electricity – reverse letterbox

We've had enough of reverse wherigos, it's time for a reverse letterbox.

Preparation

There are a few cacher skills that will come in handy on your quest for this box. Aside from the fairly common (but not always granted) ones like walking and seeing, you'll need to be able to master tree climbing with equipment, as well as the ancient art of triangulation. So you'll need a map to draw circles on, whether paper or electronic. For example, Locus Map or GC Wizard apps or Geocaching Toolbox website can do this.

Also, equip yourself with a rope at least 45 m long and the usual equipment for climbing a rope up a tree. I recommend taking a slingshot.

The way

The cache is not at the listed coordinates. To get to it, follow an easy route of about 700 m marked with three waypoints. At each of the waypoints, look around and select the correct photo I took at the location from the photo gallery above. Each photo contains a number indicating the number of meters to the final cache. This is where the name reverse letterbox comes from, as you only learn the distance to the cache, similar to a reverse wherigo.

Thanks to triangulation, you now know exactly where to find the tree with the cache. To avoid the overgrown path, I recommend going from the third place straight ahead for about twenty meters before turning towards the cache. Don't go to the end of the forest, take the path through the forest.

The cache – Read this before you climb!

Please don't cut your way to the cache by car along the hop field, there is a photo trap there. Use the recommended parking space or another nearby where you won't be in the way.

The hinges are on the right, so if you install the rope to the right, you won't be able to see inside properly.

You'll find the key on the bottom of the cache on a chain held by a magnet. Please lock after yourself and return the key so that the whole chain is attached to the bottom of the cache and not hanging down.

The cache decoration is not functional, please do not tamper with it. Do not step or hang on the cache under any circumstances.

Inside the cache you will find a bonus clue that may or may not come in handy in the future.

Please do not share photos of the inside of the cache. I would have to delete them.
