Welcome to the Fall Fest 2025 81 Grid Series
This series will offer a variety of DT ratings throughout Brantford and Brant County - be prepared for almost anything. They are being placed for GCAX1X1 Fall Fest 2025, but are not part of the GeoChallenge and are NOT challenge caches. Some will be park and grabs, while others will involve longer hikes or TOTTs. Please check the descriptions and attributes for each cache and do not attempt anything outside of your comfort zone. These caches are being placed to appeal to a wide variety of caching levels and abilities.
Meet Pasha88!!
Pasha88, aka Amanda, is the brains behind the Fall Fest 2025 operation. As the Chief Everything (Else) Officer, Amanda is responsible for everything and anything you can imagine for Fall Fest. She manages the conversations with Geocaching HQ, submits ALL the needed requests on time, places most of the caches, organizes the volunteer schedule, designs the Pathtags, Trackables and Geocoins, arranges for porta potties and golf carts and stages and sound systems and dumpsters and venue rentals, wraps all the prizes, decorates all the birdhouses, designs all the banners and game cards, coordinates the vendors and makes sure there is food for attendees to eat, negotiates with the County and City, orders all the swag, writes all of the adventure labs, and 1000+ other things that go into hosting a mega event (including signing all the cheques!)
In between doing all of that, Amanda also finds time to attend as many block parties and mega events as she can (from Arizona to Nova Scotia and everywhere in between), has placed more than 1400 geocaches, is in the top 3 for Earthcaches placed in North America for 2025, has created more than 75 Pathtags that have been traded all over the world, and has hosted more than 150 geocaching events since she started caching in 2007. Her memory for cache placements without written notes is pretty outstanding, and she's always looking to push the bar just a little bit wherever she can.
If you're ever looking for Pasha88, it's probably easier to look for Auston, her little white dog. Auston is well known in 4 provinces and 26 states, even if Amanda isn't. He's got his own Platinum Status with a certain hotel chain, and will randomly walk up to strangers, demanding pets and treats. He's not spoiled at all...
