The container is an ammo box.
This area was the place where the material for the dam was removed.
The dam is up the road a ways and has a nice view. The area of the
cache has some deposits of coal and sulfur, if you like that sort
of thing. We do.:) In the spring the floor of the gap is filled
with wild flowers and makes for a great walk down to the lake. Up
the road is a nice little park. Its on the left, down a short road.
The road leads to the park which is at the flow out of the dam. The
gate is not always open. :(
