The cache has gone missing twice (I think the ducks are doing it), so I'm changing this to a virtual cache. Bring some food for the ducks while you're in thearea.

Originally called ''Duck Pond'', in 1996 the M.U.D. changed the name of the park to ''Shirley McDonald Park'' to honor Shirley's contributions. Shirley lived near the park and fed the ducks daily. The pond sits on a 7.5-acre park and is used for flood control. The water level varies throughout the year.

To receive credit for your find, email me the name of the duck in the lower left corner of the sign. DO NOT include the answer in the log or it will be deleted. Failure to email me the correct answer will result in deletion of your log.
