Out of many things that are synonymous together, none come close to Metro Detroit geocachers and their ice cream events. Last year, a group of us hosted monthly ice cream events at our various dairy hangouts and I wanted to keep it going into this summer with an informal event prefix of ICE (short for Ice Cream Event). There will be new and repeat locations, but regardless, there will be ice cream!
Who?
Everyone is welcome at this event, including muggles.
What?
Meet other geocachers and enjoy some of Metro Detroit's finest ice cream.
When?
Sunday, May 18th, 2025 from 3pm until 3:45pm.
Where?
Erma's Original Frozen Custard - 6451 Auburn Rd., Shelby Charter Township, MI 48317. There is a good amount of seating behind the business but due to the popularity of Erma's, seating will likely fill up fast. Parking is available on the west side of the business and on Auburn Road opposite of Erma's.
An ice cream purchase is not required to attend; all geocachers are responsible for their own ice cream purchases.
