24th May - Trimming on the Tree Trail at Robinswood Hill
The session is set for 2 hours, but only me and the ranger have to stay till the end!
Please do feel free to pop along and only stay for as long as you want.
Parking: Off road parking is available at the headline coordinates. Please note that this is NOT the main Robinswood Hill car park.
Where: We will meet at the parking coordinates for 1030hrs and then will make our way along to the Tree trail. I will add a waypoint once we get to the start of the trail and push out an announcement so that you can find us. You can also message me in the app for an update on our location if you are arriving after time.
What: We will be lightly trimming back any overgrown briars making sure to not disturb the nesting birds.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance. We ask you to bring your own gloves and if you have them tools, so if you have shears, loppers, a saw and secateurs please do bring them along. Don't worry if you don't have them as the ranger will have a supply too.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by Council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please make sure you bring along your own refreshments as it can be thirsty work!
