Patrice has been in mourning for the past two years. Ever since her boyfriend, Peter, met his match in a showdown with a squirrel (see GCA2E42-Spike the Squirrel: A Cautionary Tale), she has really not been coping well. Some people are just not resilient enough to carry on after such a blow.
Her therapist recently suggested she try to get a support animal. She has no money to pay for anything expensive at this point, all her money going into therapy, after all. So she came here to see if she could find some sort of free critter.
