Well, the calendar has rolled around again and it's time for a visit to the grandkids in Manhasset! For the last couple of years, whenever I travel out of state (Washington), I'm hosting a short Event to meet and greet local cachers and learn more about the area. That includes getting any ideas for which caches I should target while visiting.
My geocaching time is limited on these visits to the early to mid mornings when Mrs. Scary arises from her slumbers and the grandkids are ready to play after their morning routine.
I've also used these Events to swap TB's and in some cases give away Geocoins I have in my Collection but want to bestow on someone interested in growing their Collection.
I'm looking forward to again seeing the folks who've attended my previous Events in the area as well as other Long Islanders and those passing through on Memorial Sunday.
