Welcome to Lemon Hill Recreation Area, a quiet spot perched above Lake Kaweah just off Highway 198—perfect for a picnic, a hike, or an afternoon of lakeside relaxation.
This cache offers you a chance to stretch your legs and soak in sweeping views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, with plenty of open space and fresh air. Activities in the area include:
Getting here is easy: head east on Highway 198 from Visalia toward Sequoia National Park. As you approach Lake Kaweah, watch for a small road climbing left up a hill—this leads to Lemon Hill. The recreation area offers picnic tables, potable water, and great viewpoints, especially at sunrise or sunset.
The cache is a small, camouflaged container with enough room for small swag and a logbook. Please re-hide the cache as found to keep it a fun challenge for the next adventurer!
