Easy trip off of the Hi-way
Not a bad drive off of the Highway & can be done in a car if done carefully. Roads have changed in this area so the Forest Service Map will not be exact.
follow your GPS to N34°28.950-112°17.304, follow that road to a clear parking spot that is just a very short hike from the Cache site.
From this site you can see a number of historical mines in the area. All of these Gold mines were great producers. Most of the ore was moved from this area to the Poland mill close to the Poland Walker Tunnel for processing.
