Welcome to Burnaby Fraser Foreshore Park!
The park is located on the north arm of the Fraser River. This riverfront park is home to meadows, marshes, creeks and animals habitats. Watch tugboats, barges and log booms make their way up and down the river. Burnaby Fraser Foreshore park is great to take your dog for a walk, to utilize outdoor fitness circuit training or wander along the accessible paths. There is also a large picnic area near a playground, 2 volleyball courts and lookout piers to view the working river. Along the path are also found benches and picnic spots with great views. Be aware that in winter and spring, the Fraser sometimes floods the low lying areas so be aware of your surroundings, especially as you come near the river.
The multi icon on the map will take you to a parking lot where you can begin your journey. There is also lots of parking on the road nearby. Solve the questions at the 2 waypoints and solve for the final coords.
Waypoint #1 is located at the main sign near the washrooms. The backside of the sign (facing the river), you will see a diagram of the park with some trail distance information. This waypoint will solve for the North coordinates.
Waypoint #2 is located at a plaque that is attached to a large rock just slightly further east by the path. (see waypoints for coordinates). This waypoint will solve for the West coordinates.
The final is found within 1 km of the mulit icon along the foreshore park trail. Hopefully you will enjoy your walk along the trail!
