Geowoodstock XXII is excited to share the beautiful and unique Kansas Prairie for an extended Memorial Day weekend in Hutchinson, Kansas. The committee is planning an event full of family fun and adventure.
What is GeoWoodstock?
Kansas is the 16th state to have the privilege of bringing geocachers from around the world to the 22nd installment of Geowoodstock. It started in 2003 by JoGPS, a geocacher from Tennessee, to bring cachers from across the United States together. By 2006, it had become popular internationally and GeoWoodstock 4 was the first-ever geocaching event to be awarded Mega-event status. GeoWoodstock 2018 was the first Giga event held outside of Europe. Geowoodstock then went international in August of 2022 for GC86VDF in Alberta, Canada.
