♥INTERNATIONAL GEOCACHING DAY♥
International Geocaching Day is a unique celebration that brings together outdoor enthusiasts and adventure seekers every year on the third Saturday of August.
This game is rooted in the tradition of letterboxing and has grown in popularity since the first geocache was placed in May 2000.
The day emphasizes outdoor activity, encouraging participants to explore new places while searching for geocaches. These containers often hold a logbook for finders to sign, demonstrating their success locating the cache.
Come out and celebrate with us!! The event ends at 10am, then we will be headed into the swamp to collect the trail of geocaches, and there may be a few new ones to pop the day of this event. You do not have to participate in finding the trail of geocaches
We will have grilled hot dogs, chips and snacks, and a small variety of sodas and water (alcoholic drinks or glass bottles are prohibited here) and there will be some GeoSwag for the ones in attendance
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO STAY THE ENTIRE TIME
