G’day to Woorabinda Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

pood: Planning for this event from the other side of the country was interesting. Our travelling time made it perfectly.
A great opportunity for a chat with other like minded geocachers over morning tea with a good old Aussie favourite of scones jam and cream.
A huge thank you to the avid geocachers who made the distance to join us here for a great event.
All those who attended have logged their attendance, time to archive this event.

Geocache Description:

G’day to Woorabinda.

We'd enjoy a catch up with any Geocachers traveling through the Woorabinda area.
We are traveling from the South-Westen corner of Western Australia to the North-Eastern corner of the country to Cairns and Port Douglas, via the Nullarbor, Bourke, Brewarrina, St George and the Woorabinda Shire.
We'd enjoy a catch-up here for a morning chat about your Geocaching Travels in Outback Queensland.

This event is nearly marking a six month anniversary to the first event that was held here at  this gz.

After contacting Fangsoki about the event which he held here nearly 6 months ago, https://coord.info/GCB1KNG, and reading the positively interesting logs, it was a great success, it seems our timing nearly aligns to create a 6 month anniversary event here.

It's a Welcome to the Woorabinda Aboriginal Shire Council LGA.

Woorabinda Aboriginal Shire Council is divided into 5 different areas within the Central Highlands Region.  This area happens to the most southerly area of the LGA.

At the Event is the on the roadside, there are no facilities.

The purpose to the Event is to say G'day to the travelling Geocaching Community and to get the Woorabinda "county" for your stats.
And - of course - enjoy the leisurely drive in the Queensland countryside.
