The Slow Motion Campus Tour is a (perhaps never-ending) series of geocaching events at various noteworthy places on the University of Washington Campus. For the 24th event, we'll visit the only piece of art directly on Red Square, Broken Obelisk.
There are 4 copies of this sculpture in existence, all of them on display in the US, including one at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. But that one is a copy of the two originals. One of the originals is in Houston, the other is here in Red Square.
As always, parking on Central Campus is difficult. Take transit, bike or walk.
