The walk along Silloth prom is very popular and the view over to Criffel is often admired - especially at sunset! If you stop here to rest and look over the Solway you will find a small magnetic nano cache. Please bring your own pen to record your visit and please replace as found. This spot is dedicated to Molly and Ivan Lomas who ran the fishmongers in Silloth for many years after taking over from Ivan's parents. The shop in Wampool Street was founded in 1904 and ran until 2004. Thank you to the Lomas family for permission to place the cache.
