I used to have a private cache in this area that my brother, his kids, & I would hide, find, and then re-hide for each other. The base of a tree nearby was the last spot it was hidden before the 2018 Donnell Fire put an end to it. I also used to cross the highway and walk down through here with my dog Tag to go fly fishing. My family had a cabin up the hill across the highway until the Donnell Fire also burned that down. This cache commemorates not only Tag, who has since passed in January of 2022, but also hiding and re-hiding the original cache with my brother and nephews.
