Warning
For anyone that did the original series of "My Child" on nearby Fairchild Creek, this is *way* easier. In fact, it's about as smooth a paddle as you will find. There are no logjams, generally only a light current (assuming it's not flood season), and there's an easy entry and parking. However, always check the weather and water conditions before you come.
Description
Welcome to the Grand River!
This series of caches is dedicated to my daughter who has now registered her geocaching name: GhostOnPop! If you're adventurous, the nearby Fairchild creek has two sections of hides dedicated to her too, and I thought - why not continue the series? She's been with me for so many hides and finds, and, she is (almost) always in good spirits. She would never say that she loves geocaching, but if there's a tree climb or a culvert, she's all over that :)
The Cache
GoP loves camping... I mean *loves* camping. She looks forward to our ever-increasing-in-length-backcountry-paddle-in-camping-trip every year. It's great in a world of ever increasing screens and digital content being ever present, she loves to go out into the wilderness for days and a time and just unplug! Unfortunately, you can't camp right here.
