3 Sisters River Cache - Stawamus River Trail
This is one of three kid-friendly geocaches hidden along the beautiful Stawamus River Trail in Squamish, BC. The trail is short and sweet - less than 1km one way - making it perfect for little legs and families looking for a quick outdoor adventure.
While the trail isn't stroller-friendly due to roots and uneven terrain, it's absolutely manageable for kids of all ages and creates a lovely, atmospheric walk through the forest. None of the caches are hidden near the riverbanks - so no need to go near swift moving water.
The caches were hidden by Akela, Naia and Nova - three outdoorsy sisters (aged 3, 5, and 7 at the time) who call Squamish home. They wanted to share one of their favourite local trails with fellow geocachers and families.
Each contains a logbook, pencil, and a number of little treasures to trade. Please re-hide them carefully and respect the natural surroundings.
