Yes, there was room for one more geocache on Skyline To The Sea Trail close to Big Basin Park Headquarters and you don't have to leave the trail to get it. It's about half a mile north of the main parking. It's interesting to see how the trees are recovering from the huge CZU fire that was almost five years ago (August 2020).
Big Basin is open from 8 AM to sunset. Parking reservations are recommended especially on busy weekends and will also save you $2 ($8 if you reserve, $10 if you just show up).
