Welcome to Calgary!

Howdy everyone!
With 15,000+ people from over 120 countries coming to Calgary, I would like to think there must be more than a few geocachers in that group. And that's why as a local cacher, I wanted to host this event to welcome our geocaching visitors to our "Blue Sky" city and the local geocaching community.
Everyone is welcome. The more the merrier. Hopefully this is an opportunity for cachers from all distances to come and meet and share some stories and for us resident cachers to offer our visitors some local insider tips and tricks.

(and Ground Zero for this event)
This location and time were specifically chosen because it is hopefully the most convenient and accessible time and place to our guests during their visit here. That being said, for anyone coming, please be aware there will most likely be significantly higher traffic volume in and around GZ, including potentially hundreds of charter buses. Plan your route accordingly and allow for extra travel time. Public parking will be VERY VERY limited and there will be a charge to park on the grounds. I strongly recommended alternate modes of transportation, if possible, such as biking, walking, carpooling, or using public transit.
This event is also a great opportunity to transfer some travel bags around without the risk of any of them going missing. If anyone has any TBs that want to move, please feel free to bring them along.
Looking forward to meeting everyone!
