The cache is a plastic ammo can hidden several paces away from the Big Tree Trail in Sam McDonald Park. It is just below the intersection with the Towne Fire Rd. There are two paths to the cache from the trail; the easiest is on relatively flat ground. My gizmo coordinates were very jumpy here, so I am including a detailed hint.
I had brought this larger container with me today, but I never found a spot I liked for it on The Heritage Grove Trail. After making a detour onto this trail, I discovered a beautiful location that seemed like a good home for it. This was my last hide of the day.
(I returned to Sam McDonald Park today after noticing quite a bit of empty cache space, especially on the beatiful Heritage Grove Trail. With several containers in my pack, I had a fun adventure filling in some of the gaps.)
