My granddaughter is having a sleepover with me. For lunch she wanted waffles. I save cute bottles from a well known Breakfast restaurant. I like using them for various things, including pouring real maple syrup form larger containers into these easy-to-pour from bottles.
When I asked if she'd like to HIDE a cache in addition to finding one, she wanted to use the syrup bottle. I got out a clean one (missing the restaurant label) to use and asked her what she thought we should name this- "I love maple syrup". I knew this park might have space available for hiding a cache and I have permission to hide in any of Miamisburg's city parks.
This park is really on E. Central Ave in Miamisburg, even though looking up directions will take you to Gebhardt Church Rd. I couldn't find any access to the park from Gebhardt Church. There doesn't appear to be any parking. Where we found the sign for the park, there's a large open mowed area. We just pulled into the grass off the road- there's not really street parking due to the narrow road. If conditions are soggy, it may be difficult to park.
The sign doesn't list hours, but most parks are open dawn to dusk.
