Join us as we work together with the Navarre Beach Sea Turtles Conservation Center to clean up the beach on Saturday June 28th from 8-10 am.
"Trash Bash is a monthly citizen-scientist beach clean-up for all ages. Sign in at the Sand Crab Pavilion on Navarre Beach. Look for the "Giving Sea Turtles More Tomorrows" banner! They will supply buckets, pickers, and gloves while supplies last - feel free to bring your own. This event is weather permitting."
There will be a sign in sheet at the event so they can track volunteer hours. Let them know you are a geocacher.
After picking up the trash, please return it to their collection site so they can weigh and record it.
As this is a CITO, there is a 1 hour requirement. You do not have to stay for the whole 2 hours. Bring your own water. It will be hot out there.
