🌿 CLEARING TRAILS ON ROBINSWOOD HILL 🌿
This CITO event is set to last for 3 hours and some attendees like to stay for the entire session, however this is not an obligation.
Please feel free to turn up whenever is convenient and just stay as long as you wish.

Parking: Is available on Fox Elms Road (see parking waypoint). Please note this is not the main Robinswood Hill car park.
Where: Meet up at the waypoint on Fox Elms Road for 09:30 to collect tools, then we will make our way to the Gorse Bench path for today's trail trimming session. Please note there is a fairly steep section of path to negotiate before arriving at the Gorse Bench.
For anyone arriving after 09:30 please message me for our up-to-date position, or head to the CITO coords and follow the path along until you find us.
What: We will be keeping the trails clear on Robinswood Hill, continuing on from work done in previous CITOs. This involves trimming back brambles and scrub that are encroaching on to the paths, as well as removing any low hanging branches, taking care not to disturb any nesting birds.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance. We ask you to bring your own work gloves and if you wish to use your own tools (secateurs, shears, loppers) please do bring them along. Don't worry if you don't have tools as the Ranger will have a supply.
Health and Safety: The session will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please bring water and a drink / snack for breaktime. Cake will be provided 🙂
