Geocache Description:

This Geocache is NOT at the posted coordinates!

Nonograms are a type of puzzle originating from Japan. They were invented by Non Ishida for a Tokyo competition in 1987. The name "nonogram" (named after the inventor) was coined by The Telegraph when the puzzles were introduced in the UK. The puzzles gained further popularity worldwide after Nintendo used them in their Picross series (a portmanteau of "Picture" and "Crossword") on the SNES, Game Boy, and DS. Typical nonogram puzzles only use black and white, but colored versions also emerged as time went on, although they are much more difficult to complete because of the increased complexity.

For this Geocache, you can get the final coordinates by solving this nonogram puzzle! This is a typical black and white puzzle, but it is a fairly large grid so it may take some time. I suggest either printing the image out (I made the dimensions standard US Letter paper) or using an image editing software (MS Paint, GIMP, online websites, etc.) that allows you to easily erase mistakes, as not being able to correct yourself can be very frustrating.

For some extra help in learning how to solve a nonogram puzzle, here's a good YouTube video that can help! Have fun!
